BIOSES is a project, supported by the Belgian Science Policy (Belspo), under the research programme ‘Science for a Sustainable Development’ (SSD), contract SD/EN/03A.
BIOSES has three main goals:
- Analyse impact of different market introduction scenarios of biofuels in the Belgian transport system (2010-2020-2030).
- Define practical feasibility and ecological, socio-economic and macro-economic impact, based on up-to-date data (incl. new measurements).
- Create a roadmap for the introduction of biofuels in Belgium, identifying technical and policy needs on short, medium and long term.
